Sabucido - Sumagang Nuptials

Severino Casquejo Sabucido is the only son of Eugenio Dawal Sabucido and Castora Tecson Casquejo. He was born in February 1927. He completed his elementary education from the then Cebu Normal School, high school from the Cebu City High School, and completed his Mechanical Engineering degree from the Cebu Institute of Technology.

Teofila Inoc Sumagang is the eldest daughter of Jacinto Sumagang and Matea Inoc. She was born on May 1937 in Cordova Cebu.

Severino and Teofila are blessed with six children. Francisco, the eldest is married to Cristina Rebuyon and have 4 children;  Lamberto the second child is married to Geraldine Catublas; Marcelina, the third child and eldest daughter is married to Oscar Escabas and have 4 children; Nenita the fourth child and the youngest daughter; Tito the fifth child married to Jonalyn Tago and have two daughters; and Rene the sixth and youngest.

Severino and Teofila raised their family in a loving and fun filled home in Mabolo Cebu. Severino at the insistence of his uncle Apolinario Cadigal and aunt Juanita Casquejo, gave up his mechanical engineering practice and work with the family business in Ramos Street.

In later years, both Severino and Teofila started a small sari sari store in Mabolo and together with the help of Teofila's sisters built up a flourishing carenderia which to now is still operating and widely patronised.
